How did you start your creative journey?
I have a very creative mother. I also have an older brother who is very musically gifted so I was ushered into artistic spaces at a very young age. Being around talented & creative people just inspires you and makes you lean into your creativity even more.

What made you want to start creating content?
I was in high school when YouTube started to become popular. There were a couple people in my school who had channels… after I checked theirs out and found out what YouTube was about ...I was just like “hey I can do that”. I’ve been creating videos ever since.

“Creativity is being able to convey an idea that is a direct reflection of who you are.”

What does it mean to be creative?
Creativity to me is an authentic expression. Creativity is being able to convey an idea that is a direct reflection of who you are. Creativity is emotion transformed… and being able to translate or get out an emotion is a very powerful tool. Especially for kids. I believe that everybody is creative in some way. And that using that creativity is an essential part of living a happy life.

What drives you to create? Your motivation.
I’m very motivated by the idea of creating things that people haven't seen before. With my content I like to take people of the ordinary for just a few minutes.

What's the value of creativity to you?
Creativity is everything to me. I honestly don’t know who I would be or what I would be doing if I wasn’t creating.

Can making things bring people together?
Yes. Definitely. There’s something about a good song or something that’s really funny that just brings people together. It’s kinda like “Oh we like the same memes? You are my people.” Haha

Have you faced any obstacles in your creative journey? How did you overcome them?
Yes. I faced a lot of doubt. Wondering if people would get me. Or if I was coming across completely insane. I also had those moments of thought like “What am I doing? I need to go back to school.” But I pushed through… and I’m glad I did.

“Life is meant to be enjoyed and I hope that my work can, even if just for a few minutes, help people enjoy life. ”

What would you say to a new creator to inspire them?
I would say focus on your evolution as an artist and creator. Don’t worry about the numbers and if people “like” you.

What do you hope your work can accomplish?
I hope that my work can make people laugh, have a good time, and enjoy themselves. I think that life is meant to be enjoyed and I hope that my work can, even if just for a few minutes, help people enjoy life.

What does it mean to share a part of you through creativity?
Sharing a part of me through my creativity means leaving my mark on this world. I think what an artist needs most is perspective. Authentic expression through your creativity is how you share a part of you.
