Step 1 – Connecting the phone to computer

After Dr.Fone is installed on the PC, launch the toolkit for Android on the PC. After opening the toolkit on the computer, go ahead and select “Data Backup & Restore” from the various toolkits present.

Using a USB cable, connect Samsung Galaxy S4 to the computer. Ensure that the USB debugging mode is enabled on the device for connection with the computer. You might be presented a pop up window on the phone asking you to allow USB debugging. Select OK if you get a pop up window.

The device will be properly connected if everything works well.
