How to edit MP4 with MP4 video editor step by step
Step 1: Import MP4 video to the video editor
You can either click "Import" to import files from your computer, or drag and drop files to the User's Album. All added files will be displayed in thumbnails in the album and you can preview them on the right viewing window. Note that regular photo and audio formats are also well supported for better home movie making.
Step 2: Edit and personalize MP4 files
And then drag the files to the video track on Timeline for editing: 1. Basic video editing including rotate, crop, set contrast/saturation/brightness and fast/slow motion, change voice, etc. 2. On Timeline, drag and drop to automatically trim video/audio and one click to split video/audio. 3. You can also add personalized captions to your videos for better video meaning conveying. 4. Many video effects (more than 50) are also provided to make your videos more personalized and special.

Step 3: Add scene transition (Optional)
Click "Transition" tab on main screen and you will see 48 scene transition effects are provided. You can drag the one you like to the video on the track to apply. If you particularly like some one, you can add it to favorite so that you can quickly find it later. If you don't want to choose one by one, you can let the software choose the transition randomly by right clicking and selecting "Random to All" option.
Step 4: Share your video in various ways
After your editing is finished, click "Create" to save edited MP4 in other format or the format playable on portable devices. You can also share your video creation on YouTube directly or burn videos to DVD for better video preservation.
Tips: MP4 files have become a popular file type for portable devices like MP3, MP4 players and file-sharing sites due to the small sizes and therefore short upload times.
