How to Make a Video for You Tube or Facebook

To make a video, you'll need:

1. Digital photos and music
2. Video slideshow software (e.g. DVD Slideshow Builder for Windows or Fantashow for Mac)
3. YouTube / Facebook account (Register Free)

Video Slideshow Making Step 1: Add Photos and Music

Download and install DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe software. Once launched, enter Advanced Mode and you will start from Organize tab. Here, import favorite photos/videos and music to the storyboard. If required, double-click media sources to edit.

When you import photo and video, random photo transition will automatically applied to them. But you can change photo transition by clicking transition thumb on storyboard and select desired transition in the resulting dialog. Video Slideshow Making Step3: Save Video to MP4

Go to Create tab and in the Output formats drop-down list, select MP4 as the video format. Then click Start to save video for Facebook/YouTube. You can also go to Options button to customize video options, e.g., the video resolution, frame rate, bitrate, audio sample rate, etc.

Following Facebook movie formats are supported, but not limited to. And the best video format for Facebook video is MP4 Video as to my own experience. Note that Facebook video size should be limited to 100 MB and Facebook video length under 2 minutes. Instructions to upload video to Facebook.

After logining to your Facebook account, go to Video tab, and you will see. Click Upload to open uploading page. Then click Browse button to choose desired video to upload. While the video is uploading to Facebook, you can also fill some necessary information about your Facebook video.

You are recommended to save video in the following parameters. File size and duration need to be less than 2GB and 15 minutes. Before uploading, see the easy steps above to make a video with video making software.

Resolution: 640x480 (1280x720 for High Definition)
Video Frame Rate: 29.97fps
Sample Rate: 44100
