Is there anyway to recover contacts from iPhone 4 itself?
I accidentally deleted several contacts from my iPhone 4, and forget to back them up with iTunes. Now I need them urgently, but I've heard that there is no way to recover deleted data on an iPhone except through backup.Is that really? Can I recover data from iPhone itself without iTunes backup? Steps of how to recover iPhone data without iTunes backup
Step 1. Connect your iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS/3G to the computer
After installing and running the program, connect your iPhone to the computer with a digital cable. When your iPhone 5/4S/3G is detected, you’ll get the interface below.
If you connect your iPhone 4/3GS, you'll see the window as follows. Here, you need to click the "Download" button to get a plug-in for your device before the scan.
Step 2. Scan your device to find deleted data on it
If you use iPhone 5/4S/3G, directly click "Start Scan" to search deleted data on it. If you use iPhone 4/3GS, you need to follow steps below to enter the device's scanning mode and scan it for lost data.
- Hold your iPhone and click the “Start” button on the window.
- Hold the Power and Home buttons on your iPhone at the same time for exactly 10 seconds. The Software will count time for you. Just hold the two buttons immediately after the step 1.
- When 10 seconds have passed, release the Power button right away, but keep holding the Home button. After another 10 seconds, you’ll be informed that you've successfully entered the system and you can release the Home button now.
- Then the software begins scanning your iPhone automatically for lost data, and you’ll get the interface as follows.
Step 3. Preview & recover data directly from iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS/3G
When the scan completes, all data you can get from your iPhone will be displayed in categories as follow. You can preview all of them before recovery to check what you want. Mark them, and click "Recover" button at the bottom, you can save them all on your computer with one click.
