Technical Support Filmora

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Representative that have a passion in video creation. This individual should have some previous customer service experiences. The ideal candidate will be confident in dealing with customer’s suggestions or complaints about Filmora products and should be excited in looking for ways to make customer’s life easier. Since Filmora is a video editing software, so the candidate should be somewhat familiar with a video creation process.

Job Requirements:

  1. Provide after-sales technical support to customers of the Filmora products.
  2. Handle different technical issues raised by the customers about video editing software bugs or glitches.
  3. Research answers and guide customers through corrective steps in resolving their complaints or issues.
  4. Prepare and draft technical and non-technical user instructions such as FAQs to improve user’s understanding on Filmora’s product line.
  5. Work in a diverse team including but not limited to Engineering team (i.e. Research and Development Team), Marketing team and Product Management team.
  6. Gather user response and complaints and report them to the product team and the engineering team in a timely manner.
  7. Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys and mockups optimized for a web, mobile and new digital touch points.
  8. Stay current and updated with product updates and changes with the Filmora products.
  9. Ad hoc duties related to technical support as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, design, marketing or related areas is preferred.
  2. 2+ Years of customer services experience dealing with customer complaints or product issues, ideally in a technology environment.
  3. Previous working experience in the video editing industry is a strong asset.
  4. Tech savvy and is quick in picking up and learning new technology.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  6. Passionate in video creation as personal hobby or is familiar with video creation process.
  7. Ability to work with various teams including product management, development team, and marketing team.
  8. Ability to cater to different time zones from time to time.
