Senior Manager, Global Brand Management

We are now seeking for a Global Brand Management expert who will be working in Vancouver branch office. The ideal candidate would have proven track record in marketing, corporate communications and PR professional, able to speak both English and Mandarin, as well as experienced in managing corporate brand with multiple individual product lines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Internally: Corporate Brand Manager

  1. Ensuring consistency in brand identity, strategy and marketing by overseeing and keeping consistent corporate brands Visual Identity System and working closely with different product marketing teams and design teams at all levels;
  2. Constantly evaluating brand strategy alongside its vision and core mission to ensure consistency in the global brand across countries and regions;
  3. Advise corporate brand marketing team on strategic issues such as managing corporate brand guidelines, corporate brand positioning, integrating local marketing strategies into the global brand strategy and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices between local and global brand teams.

Externally: Corporate Brand Ambassador

  1. Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in online media, print or other possible media channels;
  2. Creating content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations;
  3. Coordinating all public relations activities to constantly increase corporate brand awareness in North America;
  4. Building relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness;
  5. Evaluating opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship and advertising on an on-going basis;
  6. Working with customer support and user engagement to maintain effective reputation control.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. University degree in brand management, digital marketing, public relations or a related field;
  2. 5-8 years of related experience, including hands on experience in managing multiple brands and corporate brands unification, marketing content creation and localization, as well as media outreach;
  3. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin;
  4. Exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills, with a keen eye on visual design;
  5. Strong in building relationships with North American business and industry media outlets;
  6. Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and international level; Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines;
  7. Excellent interpersonal and client focused skills – interacts well with all levels of staff and partners with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
