How to get free Gems in Clash of Clan
First of all I want to start with saying that all the bots you can find which claim that they can add gems to your account are one hundred percent fake.
Primarily because, Clash Of Clans is an online game and all your info gets stored in their server as soon as there is an update. Because of this no fake gem transaction can be made because they possess the records. Thus, such sites are just scams looking for people to generate traffic, complete surveys or some other similar motive.Also, everything in this tutorial may be basic to some but major revelations to others as this article only includes in-game tricks to get gems
Completing Achievements
Clash of clans awards one with gems when one completes an achievement. The level of difficulty of the achievement decides the number of gems to be awarded. Each achievement has 3 levels each level earning you more gems.
To earn maximum gems it is very wise to prioritize your playing time according to the achievements
1) Fight Other Players
Out of all the achievements achievements involving battles with other players are the one which turn out to be the most profitable in terms of gems. The achievements one car earn by fighting other players are enlisted below :-
Sweet Victory! - This achievement is earned by winning trophies in multiplayer battles. Winning 1,250 trophies will earn you 450 Gems.
Unbreakable - This achievement is earned by successfully defending against attackers. Defending against 1,000 attacks will earn you 100 Gems.
Friend in Need - This achievement is earned by providing reinforcements to your allies.. Donating 25,000 reinforcements will earn you 250 Gems.
League All-Star - This achievement is earned by advancing through the Clash of Clans league. Joining the Crystal League earns you 250 Gems, reaching the Master League earns you 1,000 Gems, and becoming the Champion earns you 2,000 Gems.
Firefighter - This achievement is earned by destroying your opponent's Inferno Towers. Destroying 5,000 towers earns you 1,000 Gems.
War Hero - This achievement is earned by winning stars for your clan in War Battles. Scoring 1,000 stars will earn you 1,000 Gems.
Spoils of War - This achievement is earned by collecting gold from Clan War bonuses. Earning 100,000,000 gold will earn you 1,000 Gems
2) Complete achievements with lower bonus
Achievements involving battles take a lot of time and effort and in the mean time one might need gems for many purposes.
These gems can be gained by completing achievements that are fairly easy to complete like :-
- Upgrading Town Hall
- Looting Gold or Elixir
- Unlocking units like Archer, Dragon etc.
- Completing the Campaign
Remove Obstacles
1) Removing Obstacles
When you start playing there are about 40 plants and rocks in the villa which can be cleared for gems. Also you need to remove them to build something in the place they take up.
Clearing up plants and rocks can earn you none to 6 gems but you earn gems in a specific pattern which is
6, 0, 4, 5, 1, 3, 2, 0, 0, 5, 1, 0, 3, 4, 0, 0, 5, 0, 1, 0
this pattern keeps on repeating throughout the game. Also, keep in mind that rocks don't grow back but plants do
2) Earning Achievements
You earn achievements on clearing your village
Clear five obstacles - 5 Gems
Clear fifty obstacles - 10 Gems
Clear five hundred obstacles - 20 Gems
Leaving Empty Space In The Villa
You need to have empty space in your villa in order to plants grow there.
Also leaving a tile or two empty won't do as plants only grow on tiles which do not have any object on an adjacent tile inferring that you need to have the adjoining 8 tiles to be empty too.
Preserving Gems
1) Saving The Initial Gems
One gets 500 gems at the start of the game. Do not, under any circumstances, use these to speed up the build times of your village as it is one of the biggest newbie mistake people make. Save these gems as you'll need them a lot later
The in game tutorial will suggest you to use the gems to speed up the production, ignore it (it knows nothing) and save those gems and thank me later.
2) Don't Buy Resources
Another mistake is buying resources from gems, it surely saves you some time but waiting a bit can get you the resources but certainly not that amount of gems
3) Use all Gems To Get Builder Huts
When you start the first priority should be to get all the 5 builder huts available. Save your gems and keep buying more builder huts as they are the best way to fasten your village development. And once you have got all the 5 builder huts, then you can think about using your gems elsewhere.
These are above are totally legitimate in-game ways to make the most and get the most out of your gems. I personally totally discourage using a bot or a online 'resource adder' as they are fakes. I know that there is a site which lets you have unlimited resources and attack whoever you please but such attacks don't have any effect in the real game and are just for fun.
Also, you can get Gems from being in the top 10 from the top 3 clans but that seems a bit long handed because there would ideally be only 30 people who could do so.
P.S I discourage buying gems from real money because it sure feels cheap at the start but proves to be very expensive once you start doing it extensively which most people do once they buy gems once and cruise through the game
