YouTube Trimmer: How to Trim YouTube Videos
Get some amazing YouTube videos, and want to trim out some part you don’t need? There are many applications help to trim a video’s length down, including YouTube’s new web-based video editor available to signed-in users. 1Import YouTube videos you want to trim
After you installed this YouTube trimmer, drag your YouTube file to the program. They'll appear in the left pane. Alternatively, click "Import" to find the YouTube file you want to trim in the popup window. When all files loaded, drag and drop a video you want to trim to the Video Timeline. Note that all original YouTube files will be kept intact. You only trim a YouTube video and create a new file.

2Trim YouTube video on Timeline
Highlight the video on the Timeline, and mouse over to its beginning or ending point. When the "Double arrow" appears, drag it to shorten or extend the clip. To restore any trimmed frames, just press "Ctrl+Z" or click the "Undo" button.
If you want to get the middle part of your YouTube video, try the Split function instead. It's very simple. Just play your YouTube video, move the slider to your desired location, and click "Pause". Now click the Scissors icon in the toolbar to divide it into two parts right away. Repeat this until you get your wanted part, then hit "Delete" on the keyboard to remove others.
Tips: To help you quickly get your wanted clips, this YouTube trimmer also provides a handy Scene Detection feature. This is especially useful because it automatically splits different scenes, thus you can find your target scenes without any effort. To do this, simply right click the clip on the left item tray and select "Scene Detection". In the window that appears, hit "Detect" to extract all different scenes and click "Apply".
3Save the trimmed YouTube video
At last, just click the “Create” button to export a YouTube file. In the pop-up window, go to the “YouTube” tab, fill your account information, category, title, description, etc. And then hit "Create" to upload it directly from this application.
Note that you can also save your creation to a standard or HD video format like AVI, WMV, MOV, MP4 to play conveniently on your computer or portable devices. Burning trimmed YouTube video to DVD video is also available, just as shown in below screenshot.
Note: This YouTube trimmer helps you split and trim the unwanted part of your original video in simple clicks, but cannot generate multi-videos. Therefore, if you'd like to trim a large video to get several small clips, you should trim and save each trimmed parts one by one to get them separately.
