A step-by-step guide on how to put music on ipad
In this article, let me take the windows version – Wondershare TunesGo Retro as an example. Launch the iPad music transfer tool.
Step 1. Connect your iPad to the computer via a USB cable
To start with, use a USB cable to connect your iPad to the computer. Your iPad will be quickly detected after it's connected. Then, your iPad will show up in the primary window.
Step 2. add music to ipad
In the left directory tree, click "Media". On the top line, click the first icon "Music". All songs on your iPad are displayed in the music window.
To add selected music to your iPad, you can click "Add". In the pop-up file browser window, navigate to the location where the music is stored. Select your wanted songs and put them on your iPad. To add a music folder, you can click the inverted triangle under "Add". In the pull-down menu, either chooses "Add folder" or "Add File" to add music.
If you have created some wonderful playlists in iTunes or on computer, you're able to add them to your iPad as well. Click "Playlist" in the left directory tree. All the playlists are shown on the right. Click the triangle under "Add". Then, you get a pull-down list.
By clicking "Add Playlists from computer", you can add any playlists on your computer to the iPad. If you click "Add iTunes Library", you get the pop-up window. By default, all the playlists in iTunes library are checked. To only add some playlists, you should uncheck your unwanted playlists. Then, click "OK".
Note: At present, the Mac version of this tool doesn't support putting music on iPad from iTunes.
