How to Delete Duplicate Songs on iPad
I noticed that I have duplicate songs on the iPad but not on iTunes on my PC. I even selected not to sync music and synced my iPad with iTunes. To my surprise I still have 33 songs left on my iPad after the sync. I then selected the sync music again and I still have the same duplicates. Any idea how I can delete the songs from the iPad? I'm running the latest OS on the iPad.
Too many duplicate songs on your iPad consumes volumes of space. It also makes it difficult to find your wanted songs. If the duplicate songs are also on the computer or iTunes Library, you can first remove the songs on it, and then sync iTunes with your iPad for the second time. However, if you have the same problem as the buddy says above, I'm afraid that iTunes sync will not work.
Frankly, Apple allows you delete songs on iPad one by one. But Could you image if you have over 300 duplicate songs that need deleting? It's frustrating, isn't it? In this case, I strongly recommend you try iPad manager – WWondershare TunesGo Retro (Windows) or Wondershare TunesGo Retro (Mac). Both versions of the software empower you to delete duplicate songs on iPad in batch.
Note: Both versions lets you delete duplicate songs from iPad mini, iPad with Retina display, The New iPad, iPad and iPad 2 when their iOS is iOS 5, 6 or 7.
