Find the sidebar >>

Go to the default view > Change to Playlists & Sidebar will appear!

Resync your music >>

1Plug in your device running iOS8 or higher and launch iTunes.
2Select your device in the left navigation bar.
3Select Music in the sidebar.
4Uncheck the box for Sync Music and then click Apply or Sync.
5Once the sync is complete, recheck the box for Sync Music and hit ‘Apply’ or ‘Sync’ again.
6Unplug your device and check if your music has been restored.

Restore music lost during upgrade >>

1Locate your stored music by finding a song through the windows ‘search’ bar.
2Import it back into iTunes by either dragging & dropping or using the import option within the             iTunes interface.

3If Search fails then search for music automatically to discover your lost music.

Edit album artwork >>

1Right click file & select info
2Click on artwork tab
3Delete image & replace with correct one

Fix iTunes Music info Recognition >>

1Use windows Media Player to rip the CD to a folder on you computer.
2Upload the files from that folder into iTunes.

Drag & drop media onto my device >>

1Change to the Playlists view.
2Devices will be listed on the left sidebar, drag and drop media into them.

Revert to iTunes 11

Step 1.

Download the installation file of iTunes version 11. http://support.apple.com/downloads/#itunes

Step 2.

Uninstall iTunes version 12. Click Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs, then click Uninstall iTunes 12.

Step 3.

Install version 11 to your computer.

Step 4.

Follow the steps to install.

Step 5.

Navigate to the local music folder on your computer. located in C:\Users\My Computer\Music\iTunes.

Delete the Library.itl file and then re-launch iTunes

Step 6.

Open up iTunes. You should now be able to use version 11 as before. Ignore update messages.

Tip: To stop annoying reminders about updating, go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced and uncheck the box “Check for new software updates automatically” and click OK.
