Thank you soo much, problem solved in a second!!!
Hi Nigel, We've just released AirPics v1.1 which streams your iPhoto and Aperture libraries to your iPad over your home Wi-Fi network, avoiding the need to sync photos or transfer them to 3rd party web services. Hope it helps! Dan Cutting Yellowbek Ltd (Full disclosure: I am a developer of AirPics and receive financial compensation from my recommendation.)
I have 20 gb of photos in iPhoto, want to be able to show them off on my iPad mini. The logical thing to do is in iPhoto, Export, select medium resolution and image size so each photo might be say 200 kb in size when it reaches the iPad. Because the iPad has a more limited memory than the Mac's hard drive. Tried it: iPhoto > File > Export... and while local folders are there as destinations, the plugged in iPad is NOT!! How dumb. Any solutions to achieve this simple function, folks?
Thank You so much for this instruktion!
Mine works. Try this: copy the edited photos to another folder and sync to your iPad
Great info - thanks! One question. I have edited photos in iphoto and although I can upload them into the ipad with itunes, the edits don't appear. I tried deleting all albums on the ipad and then re-uplaoding them and still the edits don't appear - only the pre-edited picts. Any idea why? Thanks.
