Any way to undelete iPhone data?
I accidentally deleted photos of my family trip on my iPhone 4, no backup of course. I know there are programs that can extract iTunes backup, but what I need is to scan my iPhone to undelete data from my iPhone 4. Is there any way to do this?
Don't be discouraged. There is always such a way that can let you directly scan your iPhone to undelete files on it. For personal use, Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Mac iPhone Data Recovery), and Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Windows iPhone Data Recovery) are the first ones coming out in 2012, separately for Mac and Windows users. Both of them are reliable and quite professional. You can use them to directly scan your iPhone to undelete data on it, or use them to extract your iTunes backup file.
If you're right now at the situation of losing data from iPhone, it will be a good choice to have a try with Wondershare dr.fone for ios. It allows you to preview scanned data before you recover them.

How to undelete files from iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS
To undelete data from iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, or iPhone 3GS, the Windows version and the Mac version work in a similar way. Next, let's take the Windows version as an example.
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer
Connect your iPhone to the computer and run the program, and then you'll get a window below.
Note: There is a thing you need to keep in mind before you doing anything else. Set your iPhone in the flight mode as soon as possible after you unintentionally deleted data on it. Any operation on the iPhone could bring damages to your deleted data, like overwriting.
For iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S:
For iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS: Download a plug-in when you're here.
Step 2. Scan your iPhone to find lost data
For iPhone 5/4S users, you only need to click Start Scan to begin scanning your iPhone for data on it. As to iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS users, you need to enter your iPhone's scanning mode before scan it. Follow the guide below to finish it:
- Hold your iPhone and click the Start button.
- Pressing Power and Home buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
- After 10 seconds, release the Power button, but keep holding Home for another 15 seconds.
If you failed at the first time, just try it again, until you're told that you've entered the scanning mode and the program begins scanning your iPhone as follows.
Step 3. Undelete data from your iPhone
The scan will take you a while. If you have lots of data, it may take you longer time. When it ends, you will get a scan result as follows. All found data are displayed in categories, like photos, contacts, messages, call log, etc. You can preview all of them one by one. Mark those you want and click Recover to save them on your computer.
Note: Data found here are not only those deleted recently, but also include those currently on your iPhone. You can use the slide button on the top to separate them: Only display the deleted items.
