How to Find Lost iPhone Contacts

The most annoying thing to lose your iPhone is all contacts gone. Without the contacts, you can't inform friends and families that you've lost your phone, and you'll never know who will get your phone and what the person will do with it. Ask your family for money, or make nuisance call to your friends? Either of them is really bad. Therefore, the first thing you need to do after your iPhone lost or stolen is to get back your contacts.

How to find lost iPhone contacts

In fact, when you sync your iPhone with iTunes, it generates a backup file for your device, and it's a kind of SQLitedb file. Generally, you can't access or read it directly, but with a right data extractor tool, you can extract the content from it, like your contacts.

Now, in order to find your lost iPhone contacts, find a lost iPhone contacts extractor first. If you still don't have a choice, here is my recommendation: Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Mac iPhone Data Recovery) or Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS(iPhone Data Recovery) (Windows), an effective program that enables you to reclaim all you iPhone contents like contacts, SMS, photos, videos, call history, etc., no matter for iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS, or other Apple devices.

I'm sorry but I can hardly understand your question. Can you please say it in an easier way?
My iPhone only loses new numbers added on my phone when I sync with my Outlook and puts old, deleted numbers back on. Is there not a way that I can chose the phone to be the main source, or get prompted for what to add and what to delete?
You can transfer the recovered contacts back to your iPhone with iTunes. You just need to add the contacts to your Windows contact or outlook contacts firstly, then sync them with iTunes. Or you can take Wondershare MobileGo for iOS as a try. This program enables you to transfer contacts, videos, music, photos to your iPhone with ease.
Once I recover the files using wondershare on my PC how do I get the contacts back on my phone?
My iPhone got stolen a few months so I needed to ask my friend of their contact numbers all over again. Now all my contacts are gone. Again! I don't know what really happened. So I'm really thankful there's a way for me now to find those lost iPhone contacts without having to ask my friends again. Thanks a lot for the great software!
The software is really great! I lost all my contacts for some unknown reasons and I couldn't figure out what to do. I know there's some way to recover it through iTunes so I searched for it and saw this. Thanks so much! Now I have my contacts back. No worries now!
i bought second hand iphone 3 s or 4 (not sure) and passcode was still enabled! have no way of contacting original owner. people say it can be disabled without knowing it via itunes but i am prompted to enter it every time i try. is there a way of turning it on and disabling the passcode by way of certain button(s)?? ive tried so many different things that i cant try again for over 22,000,000 minutes!!! how ridiculous! can anybody help me please?
If you've backed up your contact list with iTunes, you can use Wondershare Data Recovery for iTunes to extract the backup file and recover your contacts as a .CSV file on your Mac. The backup file is a special file that can't be viewed or accessed. You need to extract it first. Then open the Mac Address Book, go to "File" and choose "Import", select your .CSV file and put it into your Mac Address Book.
I bought this yesterday to help a friend recover contacts. I successfully backed up the contact list. I am not a Mac expert - are there any tips in how to restore this to the Mac address list? Will the format be acceptable as is? Where do I find the backup file? Does it overwrite, append, or add a duplicate if the same contact name already exists?
iTunes updates the backup for your iPhone every time you sync with it, not generating separate backups each time, so that you can't get back your previous backup once it's been updated.
