How to Recover Deleted Pictures from Canon EOS 50D

1Picture deletion you may encounter with Canon cameras
» Delete pictures from Canon EOS without backup
» Delete pictures instead of saving by accidentally pressing wrong button
» Delete the 'not-so-nice' pictures when you find your Canon memory card space is not enough
» Delete pictures when transferring pictures from Canon EOS to other devices without realizing the transferring failed.
2Solution to recover deleted pictures from Canon camera
First thing comes first, put your Canon camera in a safe place and do not attempt to take more pictures to the Canon EOS memory card. This is for the security of the deleted pictures in case they are unrecoverable because of card physical damage or picture overwriting.
Then the best and easiest way to recover pictures from your Canon EOS is to take a Canon picture recovery program to do the job.
For Windows users, try Wondershare Photo Recovery (compatible with Windows 8/7/Vista/XP) - a photo recovery program designed to recover deleted pictures from Canon or storage devices including digital camera like Canon EOS.
For Mac users, turn to Wondershare Photo Recovery for Mac - a Mac photo recovery program which can salvage your accidentally deleted pictures, videos and music from digital media.
Dowload the free trial version below to have a try now.
Step1: Connect Canon memory card to the computer.
After downloading and installing the program on your computer, of course with Windows OS installed. Then connect your Canon EOS camera memory card to the computer with the below 4 methods. You should see the card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Step2: Found deleted Canon pictures
Select one of the recovery modes according to your needs, choose the target disk where your pictures deleted, and then click the button ' Scan' to start the automatic scanning process.
Step3: Preview and recover deleted pictures
After finishing the scanning process, a list of files that have been found from your Canon EOS memory card will be shown. In addition, there will be a preview window of recoverable photos where you can preview the thumbnail of found pictures from your Canon camera. Then you need to purchase the software to activate. Click the button 'Recover' and your deleted photos will be back to hand again.
Better save the recovered photos to a different disk in order to successfully recover deleted photos from Canon EOS digital camera in case the deleted pictures are partially overwritten.

Can't find the photos with Photo Recovery? Please try Wondershare Data Recovery. It's a higher version. Remember don't use the memory card to take new photos, or the deleted photos will be overwritten by new data, and you'll lose them forever.

Hi, I can't scan my camera because the program only makes me choose between my hard disks. But when the canon camera is connected it's not another disk (eg. usb disk) but a camera, so I can't choose it. Help please.
Guys, I had scan and it found so many photo, but when I restore and save, it cannot open. what to do, guys?
why the software cannot detect my camera? so I cannot scan my memory card on camera. what should to do?
Sorry, Ronklemple1951, Wondershare Photo Recovery currently doesn't work for internal memory card on your phone.
I have a galaxy nexus cell phone and would like to recover my photos that some how got deleted. My phone has internal memory and no memory card so when I use the trial version, I am not able to see my phone in your program. My computer sees the phone as a camera in other storage devices section when I open up the my computer folder.
Hi Penny, try Wondershare Data Recovery, and use the Partition Recovery option. It may help. Download the free trial version here: http://www.wondershare.com/data-recovery/
