Download the Android SDK file and install it for Android 6.0 root. Set that up with platform-tools and USB drivers package in SDK. For the pc download the ‘Despair Kernel’ and ‘Super SU v2.49’ software. Also download the TWRP 2.8.5.0 and save it in the following directory on your pc - android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory on your computer. If you do not have this directory create one. Finally, you need to download the ‘Fastboot’ software.

Step 1: The downloaded file of ‘Fastboot’ should be kept in the directory android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools. Create this if it is not present.

Step 2: Connect your device to the computer via the USB.

Step 3: Now copy the BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip and Despair.R20.6.Shamu.zip files and paste it to your phone’s memory card (in the root folder). After this power off your phone.

Step 4: Now you need to go to the Bootloader mode- for that turn on your phone using the Volume Down and power keys.

Step 5: Go to directory android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory and then opens up the command prompt from your pc using Shift+Right+click

Step 6: Type in the following command, fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-shamu.img and then click on enter.

Step 7: Once this step is done, enter the recovery mode by choosing Recovery option from the Fastboot menu, by clicking on the Volume up button twice.

Step 8: In the recovery mode, choose the option ‘flash zip from SD card’ and then ‘choose zip from SD card’.

Step 9: Navigate using the volume keys and find out the Despair.R20.6.Shamu.zip file and select it and then confirm it so that the process of installation can start.

Step 10: Do the same for the BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip as well.

Step 11: Click on ++++Go back and rebooted your phone and the process of Android 6.0 root is complete.

Part 3: How to Root Android Marshmallow 6.0 using "TWRP and Kingroot"

For Android 6.0 root G3 D855 MM.zip and the SuperSU v2.65 files are required. Also make sure to carry a sufficient amount of charge on your device.

Step 1: Extract the Root G3 D855 MM.zip file and copy the Kingroot , Hacer Permisivo and AutoRec apk files to your device.

Step 2: Install and launch the Kingroot app on your phone. Once done, install the AutoRec file too.

Step 3: Launch the AutoRec file and then install TWRP recovery on your Android 6.0 root device. This installs the custom recovery, and the phone will be automatically reboot and start up in ‘recovery mode’.

Step 4: Tap on the install button, navigate using the volume and go to Hacer Permisivo.zip file, extract and install it.

Step 5: Go back to the main menu in TWRP and tap on ‘reboot’ and select ‘System’.

Step 6: The system will boot up and your device will be booted.
