Mosaic Maker: Easily Apply a Mosaic to Photos/Videos
Want to apply mosaic to the picture/video you’ve taken with your digital camera or downloaded from the Web? You just need this intuitive and easy to use video Mosaic maker – Wondershare Filmora (originally Wondershare Video Editor). With it, applying mosaic to hide improper or private message is a nice and easy technique, even for beginners. In the following step-by-step guide, I'll show you how to create a simple mosaic.
1Load your media files
Run this video mosaic maker, and choose 16:9 or 4:3 ratio to enter into the interface. To add your original video or photos, click "Import" to browse your file folder, or drag and drop them directly into the primary window.
This program provides a User's Album for you to manage imported media files with ease. When you have successfully loaded all files, they will show as thumbnails in the left pane. Click the "File Sort" button in the File Directory to sort them by Name, Duration, or Type if needed.
2Make a mosaic with ease
Drag videos from the item tray to the Video Timeline one by one. (Note: All files in the Timeline will be combined together into a single one by default.)
Right click the video clip, and select "Power Tool". In the pop-up window, click "Mosaic" and tick off "Apply Mosaic to the clip". Then click Add button and drag the rectangle to modify the mosaic area and size. You can also adjust the percent to achieve the best effect you want. At last, click "OK".
Tips: To help you find the target scene to apply mosaic quickly, this powerful video editing software designs a "Scene Detection" feature to separate your clip into different scenes automatically. To do it, just right click the file on the left item tray, and select "Scene Detection" to pop up the window. Then click "Detect" to get the different scenes and hit "Apply".
3Save the mosaic video
Hit "Create" to export the mosaic video/photo you've just created. In the output window, click "Format" tab to choose your desired format to save it on your computer.
Alternatively, you can click the "YouTube" tab and share your creation with the world on YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter.
