Thanks. I'm not sure I'm willing to install a Windows virtual system for a $30 e-book. Maybe I can open it on a PC and then transfer the file to a thumb drive to use on a mac? Not sure....

I asked the company/publisher and this is what they said, "Yes, if you purchase it, you will be sent a serial key. However, if yoursystem is a Mac, you will not be able to install the eBook. You will only be able to install it if your operating system is Windows. It's not a regular PDF. It is a protected PDF." Thoughts?

What does "Windows only" mean? It means when opening the PDF on a Windows PC, it is protected? You'd better contact their support team to figure this out. Ok, after you getting this PDF file with serial key, you may try to remove the protection.

I'm looking to purchase an e-book that says it is "protected pdf, for Windows only". I have a mac running 10.7.5. Is there a way that I'll be able to open and print the pages with my mac? I'd like to know before I purchase the book. They will give me the serial key I need to use the document on a PC, but I don't have a PC.... Please help!
