How to Reduce the Size of PDF Files
Sometimes, to email a large PDF file, or upload it on the Internet for sharing successfully, it is very necessary to reduce the PDF file size. Some email services limit the size of an attachment. And it takes a long time to load a large PDF file at the web. To ensure everything goes on smoothly, let’s learn how to reduce a PDF file size.
When reducing a PDF file size is mentioned, the first thing you should do is to find a professional PDF tool. I haven't seen how to reduce PDF file size without a tool. On a Mac, you can try the pre-loaded Preview to compress PDF file size. Step 1. Download and install the PDF Size Reducer
Click the download button to download and install the PDF application for PC. After installing the app, launch it on your computer.
Step 2. Reduce the PDF file size
Click Open to open the PDF file that you want to reduce its size. And then click File menu to choose Optimize. From here, you can see preset options of image quality in the PDF file. Choose the proper one according to what you will use the PDF for. Or if these preset options can't meet your requirements, you can also click Custom to set the settings manually.

Step 3. Save the PDF file
After selecting the image quality option or setting the settings by yourself, you should click Save As to save the PDF file as a new copy. Please replace the new copy with the original one in case you'll need the original one in the future. That's it!
