How to Transfer Music from iTunes to Nexus 5/7/10/4
Google Nexus 5 is the first Android smartphone powered by Android 4.4, KitKat. It's hands-free with voice actions. Whenever you want to send a message, get directions, find an image and more, you can just say "Ok, Google". How convenient it is! If you just ditch your old iPhone and bought the shiny phone, and have stored lots of songs and playlists in iTunes, you probably can't wait to transfer them to your Nexus 5.
However, iTunes is a professional iPhone, iPod and iPad manager, which doesn't let you transfer music to your Nexus 5. Thus, you have to ask help from a 3rd party tool to transfer music from iTunes to nexus 5. Step 1. Open iTunes and go to Edit > Reference... > Advanced. Check whether you have ticked Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library. If so, you can go to the iTunes media folder.
Step 2. The iTunes media folder is saved in different place, according to the Windows OS. Check here:
Windows 7/8: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\
Step 3. Navigate to the iTunes media folder and find the music folder under its directory. Open the music folder, and you will see songs are saved in different folders based on their artists.
Step 4. Connect your Nexus 5/7/10/4 to computer via a USB cable. Your device will be mounted as an external hard drive. Find and open it. Copy music from iTunes music folder to your Nexus 5/7/10/4.
