Transfer Music from Computer to iPad with and without iTunes

"How can I transfer music from my PC to my iPad mini? I'm a newbie here. Please help." Basically, there are two answers to this question: transfer music from computer to iPad without and with iTunes. Here in the following, both of them will be covered:

Step 1. Disable iPad Automatic Syncing in iTunes

Launch your iTunes Library on your computer. Click the Edit menu and select Preferences. In the popped up Devices Preferences window, click Devices. Check the option Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically. This step is very important. By doing this, iTunes will not replace the content on your iPad with content from itself.

Click the File menu on iTunes Window and select Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library. And then browse your computer for the songs. Select wanted songs and import them to your iTunes Library.

Connect your iPad with your computer via the iPad USB cable. And then you'll see your iPad appear on the left sidebar, right under DEVICES.

Click your iPad first. And then you should click the Music tab on the right window. Check Sync Music and select Entire music library or Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. And then click Apply at the bottom of the Window.

To be honest, using iTunes to transfer music from computer to iPad is very easy. It is the official and most widely used tool to download music from computer to iPad. However, before using it, you have to bear the rules in mind: 1. your computer on which your iTunes is must be paired with your iPad. Otherwise, iTunes will erase your iPad data when adding music from your computer to your iPad. It means: don't switch computers, don't sync your iPad with other people's computers, don't snap songs directly on the Internet via your iPad, etc. Or you'll suffer from data loss.
