Download and install Wondershare Free YouTube Downloader for Windows. Then double-click the .exe to install it. During the installation, please tick the web browser you want to use in opening YouTube videos.

Part 1: How to download YouTube videos

Open the target YouTube videos with the web browser you've choosed to work with the Free YouTube Downloader during the installation. And then you have two options to download these YouTube videos.

1) Via Download Buttion: When you open YouTube videos on web browser, Free YouTube Download begins to detect the video automatically. See a Download Button on the top of the videos respectively? With a single click, the video is added to the Free YouTube Downloader for downloading right away.

2)By Copy and Pasting URL: Copy the video URL and click the Paste URL Button on the main interface. That's it! You've made it.

After videos are downloaded, you could double-click these videos in the Library to play them with the built-in video player. If you need to upload local FLV or MP4 videos to the video Library, you can right click on the Library, select Import to upload video files.

Part 2: Settings for Free YouTube Downloader

Settings make YouTube Downloader works in the way you want. Here the Settings box include three parts:

General: Make settings related to download control and app update.

Control: Set a path to save downloaded YouTube videos and how many could be downloaded at one time.

Plugin: Make preference for web browser using and sites filtering.
