This tutorial is about how to use Wondershare DVD Ripper Platinum to rip DVD movies. Follow the easy steps to convert DVD to popular videos formats easily and fast.

Step 1: Load the DVD movies

click "Load DVD" to load DVDs. DVD folder, ISO and IFO are supported.

Note: Wondershare DVD Ripper platinum cannot convert vob to avi or other video formats directly. In order to convert vob to avi or other video formats, you need to load corresponding IFO files from DVD rom or DVD folders.

Step 2: Select output profile

You can select one output format you want to convert as below. This software can convert DVD to all common formats, so you can play them on all popular MP4 players such as iPod, Zune, PSP, Walkman, Zen …etc, it also can extract audio track from DVD and save as MP3 and M4A formats which are fit for digital MP3 players.

Step 3: Edit the video (Optional)

If you want to customize the video, Wondershare DVD Ripper offers a powerful video editing function, including cropping video, setting the video effects, trimming movie, even customizing personal watermark.

Crop video: Many people may be annoyed for black edges around DVD movies; Don't worry any more, with this DVD Ripper you can easily edit the DVD movie and remove them. Just Click the Edit icon to open the Edit window. Go to the Crop tab, and you can set the output video aspect ratio crop the movie video.

Set the video effects: You can set brightness, contrast, saturation and adjust the volume to modulate the effect. All the progress you can see at "Preview Pane" clearly.

Trim movie: If you don't need to convert the entire DVD movie, you can just capture a clip from it to convert.

Customize personal watermark: Wondershare DVD Ripper allows you to customize personal watermark including image watermark or test watermark.

Step 4: Start conversion

Click "Start" button to start DVD conversion.
