This is a step by step user guide that instructs you how to use Wondershare WebVideo Author to turn your favorite video clips to flash movies by importing existing video or capture by camera.
Step 1: Launching WebVideo Author
WebVideo Author works as a stand-alone program in Windows. If you install it with default settings, you may find the WebVideo Author icon on your desktop,
Double click the icon to launch WebVideo Author, and then you see the main interface as below:
WebVideo Author supports 7 video formats, they are: AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV, ASF, FLV and RM; existing flash movies (SWF); 4 image formats, bmp, jpeg, gif and png.
Step 2:Import file
There are two ways to import videos to WebVideo Author:
1. Import existing video files from local disk
2. Capture videos from Webcam or DV
After you add video clips to WebVideo Author, they shows on the video pane, which shows the structure, thumb nails, and video and audio properties of the video clips. You may preview the videos on the player pane, and cut a certain video to multiple clips, or take a snapshot of the current frame.
Step 3: Organize and Enhance
Drag and drop a video clip from the video pane to Story Board, which is designed to easily organize the time sequence of videos.
WebVideo Author allows you to resize, add effects, and change properties of the videos on Story Board. Only videos on Story Board will be converted to Flash Video or SWF movie. Before converting your videos, you may want to add author info or setup player template.
