Step 1. Choose a recovery mode
Run the program on your computer and the main interface shows as follow. Connect your iPad to the computer, and then choose the recovery mode: Recover from iOS Device. It allows you directly scan your iPad to undelete notes on it.
If you use an iPad with Retina display, iPad mini, The new iPad or iPad 2:

Step 2. Scan your iPad to undelete notes on it
Now click Start Scan in the Windows below to scan deleted notes on your iPad (exclude the iPad 1), so that you can undelete them.
If you use an iPad 1, you need to follow the steps below to get into the scanning mode before you scan it:
- Hold your iPad 1, and click the Start button on the Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Mac)'s window.
- Once you started, press the Power button and the Home button on your iPad 1 at the same time for 10 seconds.
- After that, release the Power button according to the notice of the program, but keep pressing the Home button for another 15 seconds.
When you get into the scanning mode, the program will begin scanning your iPad.
Step 3. Preview and undelete notes on iPad
When the scan finishes, you can preview recoverable data on it. For notes, click Notes on the left side of the program, and then you can preview the details. Check those you want to undelete and click Recover to save them on your computer.
To avoid losing data from your iPad, do remember to back it up on your computer regularly.
