How to recover data from your iPhone

Step 1. Scan data on your iPhone
There are two ways for you to recover data on your iPhone: Recover from iOS devices and recover from iTunes backup files. Let's try the first one here.
If you use iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S, you'll see the window below after recovering your iPhone from recovery mode. Then click Start Scan to scan your iPhone.
If you use iPhone 4/3GS, you need to click the Download button to get a plug-in at first. Then follow the guide below to enter the scanning mode:
1. Hold your iPhone and click Start.
2. Hold the Power and Home buttons at the same time for exactly 10 seconds.
3. Release the Power button, and keep the Home button pressed for another 15 seconds, until you're told that you've entered the scanning mode.
When the program starts scanning your iPhone, you'll see the window below. During the scan, you can begin to preview the found data in the scan result.
Step 2. Preview and recover your iPhone data
