How to Restore iPhone from Backup

Losing the data from your iPhone can happen for lots of reasons, including: your iPhone is broken or stolen; all data in iPhone is erased when repairing; data loses after iOS upgrade; accidentally delete files from it; factory resetting. No one can predict when the disaster will strike, but it happens. Therefore, do not forget to make regular backups for your important data. Then you can easily restore your iPhone from backup files, like restoring from previous backups in iTunes or iCloud.

My iphone 4s has also been stuck at 99% for a good 15 minutes. I disconnected and tried again - this is my second go around. It doesn't seem to want to go past 99%...

Jd, Wondershare Dr.Fone will show all iTunes backups on your computer. That it only shows the last backup is just because you only have one on the computer. Generally, iTunes doesn't generate multiple backup for one device, but updates the backup every time when you sync with it.

I purchased dr. Done to look look at and restore backup files but the software only shows the last backup. How do I look at previous backups?
disqus_K95Ejrv1eo
It depends on the data volume stored on your device. If it stuck, you can try to reconnect your device and try to scan it again.

Please download the trial version to have a try first. If your dad's iPhone 4S has ever synced with iTunes on your computer, it won't ask for your password. Just have a try at first. You also can try to find the data from iTunes backup if you have one.

My dad got an iphone 4s for only 4 months and now it's broken.. He wants to at least backup his photos from this damaged phone.. And he also doesn't remember his passcode :/ Can he able to backup his iphone 4s using this software? Will it ask for passcode?
Selena
This is because that your pictures have been corrupted by new data on your iPhone. You'd better turn your iPhone into flight mode after the pictures were lost.

I had a iPhone 4 which was stolen. Bought an iPhone 4S. When I tried to reinstall the last back up from iTunes on my MAc it said it was corrupted. Bought Dr. Phone which recovered the contacts etc form the iPhone 4 from my Mac. After it recovered it it asked me me to save the file to my mac which I did. Saved it to my desktop. The issue is when I plug in the 4S and want to restore the recovered backup file I had just saved I am not given th option in iTunes to access that backup. How to I find the option ti select to back up from that file and not from backs up for the 4s that show in iTunes?
