How to Recover Deleted Photos from Samsung Galaxy Ace
How can I recover deleted pictures on Galaxy Ace?
I took many pictures for my daughter's birthday with my Galaxy Ace. This afternoon, when I transferred them to my computer, I accidentally deleted them all and the transfer failed, too. How can I retrieve those photos? I don't want to lose them.
Generally, photos are saved on the SD card in the smartphone. There are many recovery tools that can help you retrieve deleted photos from your mobile phone. Here, my recommendation is Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android(Android Data Recovery). Besides photos and videos, it also allows you to recover messages and contacts from the internal memory on your Galaxy Ace. As the world's first Android data recovery software, it's totally safe and professional. It won't hurt any data on your device.
Download the free trial version of the software below to have a try now:
Note: You need to root the Galaxy Ace before you recover data from it. Also, Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android supports lots of other Android phones, you can check the list here.
The main window of Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android is very clean and friendly. You only need to follow the guide it tells you to move on after you launch it on your computer.
Step 1. Connect your Galaxy Ace to the computer with a USB cable
After running the program, connect your Galaxy Ace to your computer. If you didn't enable USB debugging on your device, the program will show you the window below, and you need to follow the guide to set it right now:
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
Step 2. Scan your Galaxy Ace for deleted pictures
When you have enabled USB debugging and the program have detected your device, you're at the 4th step shown on the window now. Click Start on the window and ready to scan your device.
During the process, you will get an order from the Superuser Request on your device. Click the Allow button to let it get through, and then return to your computer and click Start on the program's window to continue scanning your device.
Step 3. Preview and recover deleted pictures from Galaxy Ace
When the scan is over, you'll see a scan result as follows. There, you can preview the found data one by one, like messages, contacts and photos. Click Gallery on the left of the window, and you can view the pictures one by one. Choose those you want and click Recover to save them on your computer with one lick.
Note: You can also preview the contacts and the messages in the scan result, and recover them selectively to your computer.
