How to Recover Messages from Galaxy Grand
I can't find my messages now!
I accidentally deleted all messages on my Samsung Galaxy Grand. I downloaded a recovery tool and scanned the whole SD card. It recovered many photos and other files, but no messages there. Can't my messages be recovered?
First of all, you need to know that messages are not stored on the SD card in your phone. You need to scan the phone storage, where the messages are placed on your Galaxy Grand. There are lots of recovery tools only scanning the SD card on your phone. Therefore, you can't find your deleted messages with it.
To recover messages from the Galaxy Grand, you can use Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android. This is the first Android data recovery software allowing you to recover messages, contacts, photos and video from your Galaxy Grand (you'd better root your Galaxy Grand before you use it). Moreover, it supports lots of other rooted and unrooted Samsung devices.

Below is what the Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android looks like.
Step 1. Connect your Galaxy Grand to the computer
Let's get started by running the program on your computer. Then connect your device. If you don't enable USB debugging on your device, you need to do it now. Follow the way the program shows for your device below:
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
Step 2. Prepare to scan your Samsung Galaxy Grand
After enabling USB debugging, you'll be here. Click the Start button on the window below to begin analyzing the data on your Galaxy Grand before scanning it.
To continue, you need to turn to your device and let the order from the Superuser Request go by clicking the Allow button appearing on the screen of your device, when the analysis ends. Then back to your computer and click Start to begin scanning your Galaxy Grand for deleted messages on it.
Step 3. Preview & recover messages from your Galaxy Grand
The scan will consume you a few minutes. After it, the program will show you a scan result, where all found data are displayed in categories like messaging, contacts, gallery and videos. Click Messaging, and you can read the details of all messages one by one. Mark whatever you want and click Recover to save them to your computer as a HTML file.
Note: Besides deleted messages, the program can also recover existing messages on your Galaxy Grand. You can use the button on the top: Only display deleted items, to separate them if you have a need.
