Launch the program on your computer after you dowload and install it. The main window will show as follows.
Note: Before you begin the data recovery, you need to root your Galaxy Grand.
Step 1. Connect your Galaxy Grand
After running the program, you can connect your device to the computer now. When you see the window below, you need to enable USB debugging on your device. You can do it by following the way here:
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
Step 2. Begin to scan your Galaxy Grand
If you've enabled USB debugging on your phone before, you'll be directly guided here. You can click the Start button on the window to begin scanning your Samsung Grand.
During the process, you need to turn to your device and click the Allow button popping up on the screen of your phone, to let it get through. Then back to your computer and click the Start button to begin scanning your phone for lost contacts on it.
Step 3. Preview & retrieve contacts from your Galaxy Grand
The program can scan contacts, messages, photos and video on your Galaxy Grand, and you can preview them in the scan result before you recover them. Click Contacts on the left side of the program's window, and then you can view the detailed content of the found contacts.
