How to recover data from iPod touch 5/4
Step 1. Choose a recovery mode
On the main window of the Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Mac) (let's take this as an example), There are two recovery modes for your choice. You can choose to recover data directly from your iPod touch or from the iTunes backup. Just choose one and continue (let's choose the first one here).

Step 2. Scan your iPod touch 5/4
If you use iPod touch 5, you'll see the window below. Click Start Scan to begin scanning your iPod touch to get lost data from it.
If you use iPod touch 4, you need to enter the device's scanning mode before scanning it. Follow the way below:
1. Hold your iPod touch and click Start.
2. Hold the Power and Home buttons at the same time for exactly 10 seconds.
3. Release the Power button, and keep the Home button pressed, until you're told that you've entered the scanning mode successfully.
Step 3. Preview and recover files from your iPod touch
