How to Solve iPhone Notes Icon Missing or Hidden
Generally, the Notes icon on the iPhone can't disappear, because it's a built-in application by Apple. What disappeared is always the note content. The exception is that your iPhone has been jailbroken. Under this situation, the Notes icon may disappear. No matter which situation you've encountered, let's check how to solve both of these two kinds of issues together.
The Notes icon disappeared (how to bring it back)
Don't worry when you find that the Notes icon is missing on your iPhone, for the icon can't be deleted or be restricted. It must be moved into a home screen page or a home screen folder. If you still can't find it in any way, just go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. Here you can reset the home screen layout of your iPhone to factory settings, and you can find the Notes icon in the original place.
Note: If you have important notes stored on your iPhone before and you don't want to lose them, you'd better try to recover them first, or they will be overwritten by the resetting. It's very simple. Just follow the guide below to give it a try.

The faster you perform the recovery, the bigger chance you can get to recover your missing notes. How? Don't be crazy. With a proper recovery tool, you can do it with no effort. Next, let's check how to recover iPhone, iPad or iPod touch data in two ways.
Step 1. Select the device backup to extract
Here, let's take Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Mac) as an example. The windows version works the same.
When you run the program on your Mac, click Recover from iTunes Backup File on the top of the main window. All of your iTunes backup files will be automatically listed as shown on the window below. Choose the one for your iPhone and click Start Scan to extract the content of it.
Step 2. Preview and recover deleted or lost notes
The scan will take you a few seconds. When it finishes, the interface will be like the one below. All your previous data in the backup file are extracted and displayed in clear categories. You can choose Notes to read the content in detail. Then mark those you want and save them on your computer selectively.
Just as the window shows above, this iPhone notes recovery software can also help to find back previous photos, videos, contacts, messages and call history on your iPhone, and you can recover them all with one click at the same time if you have a need. But one more thing you need to pay attention is that don't sync your device with iTunes after you lost data, or the iTunes backup will be updated and the content becomes the same as what on your device currently.
