SD memory card photo recovery?
Okay, so I tried to copy the photos from an SD memory card onto my PC using my camera (with which i took the photos), but it says that the card is inaccessible. I tried using another camera but it says the same thing. Can I save those photos by using a card reader, or some program? I can't afford to lose those photos...
No one can afford to lose precious photos, because the memory it records can never be back again. Once it's gone, it has gone. But don't let it go if there is any chance to get it back. Want to know whether there is a hope to take photos out of the SD memory card? You need to answer the following question first:
• Is the SD memory card not physically damaged?
If your answer is NO, congratulations, you still can get photos from the card. Just as you said, you need a program - card photo recovery. As long as you can make sure the card is in good physical condition, you can recover photos from the memory card.
There are also other photo loss situations that you may encounter, such as accidental deletion, format, virus infection, power failure, etc. Once the disaster visits, do remember to keep the card original, not using to snap photos or transfering new photos into it, because new data writting will overwrite the lost photos and you can never get them back with any memory card photo recovery. This is important.
How to perform a card photo recovery?
Get a card photo reovery first: Wondershare Photo Recovery can be a good choice (or Wondershare Photo Recovery for Mac if you are using Mac OS X), which supports the photo recovery from various cards, such as memory sticks, secured digital (SD) card, XD Picture (XD) card, compact flash (CF) card, multi media (MMC) card, and more. Most importantly, it's safe and easy to use.
Free download the card photo recovery below and scan the photos from the inaccessible card before you pay for it.
Let's take the Photo Recovey for Windows as a try and do the memory card photo recovery step by step. If you are a Mac user, please visit the guide here.
Step1. Connect the card to computer
Insert your SD memory card into the computer or connect your camera directly to the computer with a USB cable. Then run the program and click to "Start" the next step.

Step2. Select the card for scan
Here all the partitions and the card will be detected and displayed. Select the memory card and begin to "Scan".

BTW, the "Filter Options" on the panel allows you to set the file type that you are planning to scan such as photos, audio and videos, even the specific formats. You can set it if you have a need. To scan all of them, just leave it as "Display All".

Step3. Start card photo recovery
If you didn't set the file type for scan, all recoverable files will be scanned out and displayed. You can check the "Photo" category and preview the photos one by one. Then check those you want and hit on the "Recover" to get them back.

What you should pay attention is: Don't save the recovered photos on the original card again, because new files will overwrite the lost photos. If there is any photo missing, you still have the second chance to scan and recover them.
Note: Back up your photos from memory card and don't let this happen again.
