How to Back up iPhone Notes Without iTunes
How can I get my Notes out of iPhone without using iTunes?
Big problem here, I jolted down some notes on iPhone a few days ago, now I want to copy them to my computer, so that I can read them here too. iTunes can't do this for me. Is there any way that I can back up notes from iPhone to computer without iTunes? Please help!
This was asked many times already. We all know that iTunes can back up iPhone data, including notes, but it doesn't allow you to access and preview the content of it. Step 1. Connect your device to the computer
Here we take Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS (Windows) as an example. Mac user can take similar steps with the Mac version.
The first step after installing and running the program is to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to the computer, and a window below will display.

Step 2. Scan your device
Click the Start Scan button to scan your iPhone 5/4S, iPod touch 5, iPad with Retina display, iPad mini, The new iPad or iPad 2.
If you use iPhone 4/3GS, iPod touch 4 or iPad 1, you need to enter the scanning mode before getting data from your iPhone. How to enter? Here is the steps:
- Hold your Apple device and begin to scan it by clicking the Start button.
- Press Power and Home buttons on your device at the same time for exactly 10 seconds.
- After 10 seconds, release the Power button right away, but keep holding the Home button for another 15 seconds as the step one.
After entering the scanning mode, you'll find that the program will automatically scan your device for data, including camera roll, photo stream, contacts, messages, call history, etc.
Step 3. Preview & back up notes from iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch without iTunes
When the scan accomplishes, choose "Notes" option to check the detailed content. Mark those you want, and save them on your computer by clicking "Recover".
Note: Data found in each category includes those deleted recently and those existing on your device currently. You can check them by sliding the button on the top: Only display the deleted items.
