Let’s waste no time to see a detailed guide below.
1 Install Streaming Audio Recorder
Download a right version of the program and install it on your computer. The two versions work almost in the same manner. So we will only focus on the windows version.
2 Save audio from YouTube video
Run the program to find a Record button in the top left corner. Click the button then navigate to find a YouTube music video or other videos with your favorite audio to play. As soon as the video plays, the program will start saving audio from YouTube online at the same time.
Remember to keep the internet going well and play a video at one time. You can play a YouTube playlist in a row and the program can save all of the audio and split them automatically.
3 Transfer to iTunes (optional)
After the audio is saved from YouTube videos, you can find them in the Library tab. Of course, you can play in the program but the most of you may want to take the audio to go. So you may want to put into your devices like iPod or others.
Highlight the audio (one or several) and click Add to iTunes button. A pop-up window will show, noticing you that the audio will be added to iTunes and you can find them in the SAR playlist. Click Add, find audio on iTunes and then sync to your Apple devices like iPod.
For other devices, you don’t need to transfer to iTunes first. Just right-click the audio and select Open in Folder to find where the audio is saved. Then copy or drag the audio to the device manually.
You may also want to make ringtones out of the saved audio. Click the bell icon and a bitmap will show up. Trim any part you like and save to put into your phones. What’s more, you can edit the information about the audio. Right-click the audio and select View Detail to change the information in a pop-up column on the right.
