All these things are easy with the help of an excellent all-in-one FLV cutter. That's Wondershare Video Editor (Video Editor for Mac). If you need to cut FLV files, this smart app and the guide here are absolutely right for you. Try it out below:
Step 1: Import FLV files to this FLV cutter
To import your local FLV files to this app, you can click the "Import" option to browse your computer and select the files you want to load. At this time, you'll notice these added FLV files have been listed in the User's album of this FLV video cutter. Or, you can also drag and drop the target files to the Album.

Step 2: Cut FLV files
Drag the FLV video you want to cut from the album to the Timeline, drag and drop the Time Indicator to your wanted position, click the Scissor button. (Note: To better locate the Time Indicator, you'd better drag the top of the red Time Indicator and the slider bar together.)

When you've finished the FLV cut job, you need to save the project for backup purpose. To do it, you can click the button in the top left corner of this smart FLV cutter, and then go to "Save as" option.
Step 3: Export the new FLV file
If need, you can delete your wanted FLV clips by hitting FLV clips and then clicking "Delete" icon. Then click the "Create" button to pop up the Output window, where you need to hit the Format tab and select the FLV to export the new FLV file.

If your goal is to export each FLV clip to a new file, get the steps here: Import the saved Project again and again, and each time you need to delete FLV clips until one clip is left, and then export the only one clip in FLV format. In this way, you can get each FLV segment in a separate file.
