It's hard to tell. You can download a trial version of the program to scan your card so as to check whether your lost pictures can be recovered or not.
i formatted the memory card, took pictures over it... any chance of recovering the images from the format?
I'm sorry this means that your lost photos were logically corrupted and they are unable to be recovered.
i used wondershare, but the jpg i recovered cannot be open - computer is saying it is unsupported, damaged or corrupted. Can I still retrieve it?
Yes, the trial version is for you to detect files and check whether the detected files are what you want to recover or not. If you want to do the recovery, you need to purchase the full version of Wondershare Photo Recovery.
It says I have to pay to get my recovered photos?!
Just tried it and it claimed it found 2 files, one 8MB, the other 20MB, in which the program states the file size exceed maximum preview size. I'm not going to pay $35 and hope it works but thanks for the link anyway.
If your photos are in Apple-supported foramts, you can use iTunes to import them to your iPad.
Once I complete the process and have recovered the photos is there anyway to download them to my IPAD?
