How to Add SRT Subtitle Files to AVI in Mac/Win (Windows 8 included)
Downloaded a ton of .srt subtitle files and plan to add SRT to AVI, but don't know how to merge AVI SRT together? Don't worry. 2. SRT subtitle files you download from the internet
3. A tool to help you add SRT to AVI —Video Converter
This app has Win version for Windows users (Windows 8 supported), and Mac version for Mac users. Just select the right version to download and install it. Note that it can support subtitle files with .ass and .ssa file extension name, apart from .srt.

Step 1: Run this app and import AVI files that you want to add SRT subtitles
When running this app, you need to import your wanted AVI files. To do this, you can go to "Convert">"Add Files" from the main menu to browse and load AVI files. Also, you can directly drag the target files to the program.
Step 2: Make sure AVI as the output format
You must catch a glimpse of the Format icon to see if the output format is selected as AVI. If not, you have to click the "Output Format" icon to pop up the output format window and then go to "Format">"Video">"AVI".
Step 3: Add SRT to AVI
Hit the video item in the pane and click the "Edit" button behind to enter its editing window. Then hit the "Subtitle" tab, tick the "+" button to open the drop-down preview window to browser your computer and load the SRT subtitle files you want. When everything is done, just hit "OK".
Step 4: Convert SRT to AVI in Windows (Windows 8 included)
Hit the convert button to add sr avi files.When the conversion is finished, you can get a new fil with your disable subtitles overlaying video. note that if want save in other formats, select wanted video format step 2.
